Educational Leadership and Policy Studies offers the graduate degrees of Master of Science, Master of Education, and Doctor of Philosophy, with a major in education and a minor for students who are completing major work in other departments. Within the education major, you may specialize in any of the areas described below.

3. Research and Evaluation
4. Counselor Education
5. Organizational Learning and HRD (Currently not taking admission applications)

Our alumni are working throughout the U.S. and overseas as school and community counselors, community college presidents, assessment and evaluation experts, and administrators of student service programs in large institutions.

The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies enrolls the highest percentage of minority students of any graduate program on campus. These figures demonstrate the effectiveness and broad appeal of our areas of specialty.Dedicated to advancing the quality and effectiveness of education, our program offers a number of options to suit students' professional needs.
