Higher Education
The mission of the Higher Education Program is to provide the knowledge, concepts and skills for leadership necessary for the study and practice of higher education administration.
The program is guided by the missions of Iowa State University, the College of Human Sciences and the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and embodies the concepts of the land-grant tradition of teaching, research, and service.
The department is dedicated to enhancing the intellectual, cultural, social and ethical potential of students and faculty.
Educational Administration
The mission of the Educational Administration Program at Iowa State University is to prepare responsive, reflective, and transformational leaders who promote high quality schools and embrace learning and success for every child.
The vision of the Educational Administration Program is to prepare leaders in the 21st century who fulfill the promise of learning for all children.
Research & Evaluation
Prepares professionals in the areas of quantitative and qualitative research as well we program evaluation.
We offer a master of science degree (with thesis), as well as faculty guidance for doctoral students who wish to develop a concentration in research and evaluation.
