Natasha N. Croom - Editor in Chief

Natasha is a third year PhD student in the Higher Education program at ISU. Her scholarly interests center on the experiences of underrepresented populations in higher education, more explicitly access, equity, and success of African American and Latino students, faculty, and staff. She utilizes assessment and evaluation methods, in addition to multiple research methods, as mechanisms to examine these issues with the ultimate goal of informing policy and practice. Secretly, Natasha really wants to open up a doggie daycare so she can spend her days playing with pooches!
Andrew Ryder - Associate Editor

Andrew is a third-year doctoral student in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies with a concentration in higher education. Andy's research interests include the intersection of higher education and economic policy, particularly regarding the workforce development mission of community colleges. Andy is also interested in international students in US community colleges, faculty work and life balance, and the stability of students' considerations in responding to surveys. A long-time fan, Andy's favorite sports memory is being in Boston to celebrate the Red Sox' 2004 World Series Win.
Stephanie Bondi - Associate Editor

Stephanie is a second year doctoral student studying higher education and social justice. Her research interests include learning strategies and environments for diverse learners and the roles for social justice allies. She is a graduate research assistant at the Research Institute for Studies in Education (RISE). Stephanie enjoys eating sloppy pizza, dodging kickball, and finding new ways to use Excel.
Clint Stephens - Associate Editor

Coming from a farm in southeast Kansas, Clint attended Kansas State University for his undergraduate degree before continuing on to graduate school at Oklahoma State where he also worked in residence life. After three yearsinstudent activities at Bowling Green State University, Clint returned to work on his doctorate. He's currently in his second year at ISU. His assistantships are in the Academic Success Center and as a research assistant. Research interests of Clint's include shared governance, collegiate athletic administration, and faculty in elected public office.
Kathleen Gillon - Associate Editor

Kathleen is a first year doctoral student in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Prior to coming to Iowa State, she earned a B.A. in English from Christian Brothers University, an M.Ed in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt University, and then worked professionally for six years at Stony Brook University in the area of new student experience. Her research interest centers on higher education access and equity, specifically for members of underrepresented populations.
