OLHRD Program Overview
Beginning in the fall of 1999, Iowa State University will offer a Master's of Education (non-thesis) and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Organizational Learning and Human Resource Development (HRD). The Organizational Learning and HRD emphasis is designed to provide master's and doctoral students with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them for leadership roles in organizations as well as the field of HRD. The program focuses on the three professional practice domains of the field of HRD: organizational learning, performance, and change. One additional feature of our master's and doctoral programs is that classes will be offered every semester at the Des Moines Area Community College - Ankeny Campus.
